SportsCarBoutique’s Racing Division, SCB Racing Announce Partnership with Downtown Porsche
SCB Racing makes its debut appearance in the 2012 GT3 Cup Challenge Canada Series sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). A partnership with Toronto’s only Premier Porsche Dealer, Downtown Porsche, is announced for the season.
SportsCarBoutique, the Greater Toronto Area’s leading Performance and Tuning Shop announces it’s participation in the IMSA sanctioned Development Racer Series: GT3 Cup Canada by Michelin. Its racing division, SCB Racing, has prepped two race cars for the 2012 season. First, the number 48 car, driven by Ilker Starck owner of SportsCarBoutique. Second, the number 38 car, driven by Andrew Danyliw a lawyer practicing in Toronto focused on the areas of property development and commercial real estate.
The GT3 Cup Canada by Michelin is the fastest growing Series in North America. With over 20 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge events held worldwide it has grown from a field of 7 entries in 2011 to 21 entries for the opening race of the season this Victoria Day Weekend at the Canadian Motorsports Park, formerly known as Mosport.
The involvement of Downtown Porsche (http://www.dfcporsche.com) with SportsCarBoutique (http://www.sportscarboutique.com) was a natural fit as both companies strive for perfection and excellent customer service.
